The Cromocon App software predicts visibility of objects and elements for VIPs. It is available for the iPhone or Android platform from the App Store. The App uses 5 Key Factors including the LRV difference between two adjacent surfaces makes an object, text or building element Visible or Not Visible to people with low vision. Measure the LRV with the Cromocon meter, establish contrast between two objects - e.g. the wall LRV minus door LRV, then slide buttons to enter the data on lux, dimension of object and distance it has to be visible - it takes seconds to check and adjust.
